Controller

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Establishes and maintains the accounting system ensuring the accurate presentation of financial results – QuickBooks Enterprise
• Oversees the accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, general ledger, and cash management functions with the Accounting Dept
• Prepares financial month-end reports to provide management with a precise review of the company’s financial position
• Prepares weekly finance summary of cash position with executives
• Establishes and maintains accounting procedures. Coordinates a monthly accounting closing calendar
• Maintain/track any intercompany transactions w/related parties
• Responsible for compliance with all federal, state and local, international payroll and other applicable taxes
• Responsible for compliance with government contracting rules and regulations
• Coordinates with external accounting firm on tax items and other issues as needed
• Maintain annual filings and requirements as they relate to any other full or partial owned entity of ASI owner
• Provide support to Executive Assistant and 3rd party CPA in preparation of owner annual returns
• Responsible for the financial activities and reporting required on foreign subsidiary with international accounts in conjunction with international and domestic accounting firms
• Maintains banking, CPA and other financial relationships for the company
• Responsible for international financial transactions such as wires, letters of credit and performance guarantees

Additional Duties and Responsibilities:
• Monitors cash disbursements and receipts to allow for maximum utilization of the company resources
• Adheres to company policies and procedures as well as established internal controls
• Position will also work closely with and in support of the CEO and COO
• Generation of reports and other accounting duties as assigned
• Preservation of company and employee confidentiality
• Prepares analysis and reports of requested items

Kevin Burr joins Aeronautical Systems, Incorporated (ASI) as the Vice President of OEM Programs.

Aeronautical Systems, Incorporated (ASI) welcomes Kevin Burr as ASI’s Vice President of OEM Programs.

Kevin will be responsible for strengthening and enhancing ASI’s existing agreements with OEMs and for fueling future growth by establishing new communication channels and business relationships between ASI and major original equipment manufacturers. In addition to building ASI’s portfolio of capabilities through OEM partnering, Kevin will focus on licensing and distribution agreements, sustainment and repair programs for legacy platforms and establishing additional partnerships within the supply base. Kevin has hit the ground running and is already negotiating a joint proposal for a foreign military support contract.

“Kevin’s extensive experience in this industry and our shared history together makes him uniquely qualified to lead our partnership initiatives,” said CEO Phil Rodriguez. “He has a wealth of experience in the industry that will help us expand our strategic alliances in order to better serve the aftermarket, specifically in airframe and propulsion.”

Kevin Burr, Vice President of OEM Programs

Kevin joined ASI after 32 years of service with Helicopter Support, Inc. (HSI) and Sikorsky Aircraft supporting the military and commercial rotorcraft market. His career included positions leading customer service, supply chain, program management and various director-level positions, including Director of Military Programs. This ground-up experience and his comprehensive knowledge of the rotorcraft industry in both the military and commercial markets will be invaluable to his new role at ASI.

Kevin joined Aeronautical Systems on August 24th, 2015, and the company looks forward to the energy and focus he will bring to their global support of military and commercial fleets. ASI has 27 years of experience providing mission readiness solutions for US built platforms, with specific strengths in the support of the legacy aircraft.
