Paris Air Show 2009
Aeronautical Systems Inc (ASI), the Virginia USA based supplier of military aircraft replacement parts and turn key repair, chose the Paris Air Show 2009 to announce additional products and services.
Despite tightening military support budgets, and stiff competition, ASI’s market share increased in both business areas during 2008. By adding staff, opening regional offices in Europe and India and signing a number of new partnering agreements, ASI has been able to improve all-round customer support.
ASI CEO, Felipe Rodriguez said:
“Our agile and responsive approach has been rewarded by increased orders for ASI supplied parts and component level repair and overhaul. In return, ASI is adding depth to our engineering and quality control divisions in order to consolidate recent growth, further improve customer support and prepare for the future.”
Despite a very busy year, ASI has achieved ISO 9001:2008 accreditation in recent months and invested heavily in staff training.
“As the military aircraft support environment becomes ever more complex and demanding,” Mr. Rodriguez added, “suppliers must become more imaginative in providing cost effective solutions without compromising standards.”
ASI supports a range of fixed and rotary wing aircraft for international customers including F15, F18, F4, AV8 and P3 aircraft and H3, H60 and H53 helicopters. ASI’s enhanced services include a wider range of specialist airframe and landing gear components and avionics repairs. More information is available at www.aeronautical.com.
