NEWS RELEASE: FEBRUARY 2007 AERONAUTICAL SYSTEMS INC ATTENDS AERO INDIA 07 SHOW Bangalore, India February 2, 2007 – Aeronautical Systems Inc (ASI), a leading supplier of military aircraft parts and manager of repair and overhaul programs, will be attending the Aero India Trade Show for the first time in Bangalore on 7-10 February 2007. Aero-India’s remarkable growth in recent years, parallels the performance of the Indian aviation business and wider economy. It is now amongst the leading air shows around the world, attracting nearly 400 exhibitors and 80 display aircraft in 2005. This year the event is expected to be even bigger. Aeronautical Systems, who specialize in supporting older US supplied aircraft, see significant opportunities in India. President and CEO, Felipe Rodriguez, stated: “It is, without doubt, an exciting time to be forging closer links with India. So many common interests exist between the great democracies of India and the US, that greater openness and co-operation is inevitable - and we will work hard to become a trusted partner in that process”. ASI prides itself on working harder to resolve difficult obsolescence problems and allow customers to achieve more effective use of valuable air assets. Given the high cost of replacement systems, everyone needs to make best use of existing equipment for as long as possible. But doing business in India cannot be taken for granted Mr. Rodriguez admits: “We know that to do business successfully in India we will need to demonstrate reliable performance, and competitive prices, which fully reflect the Indian defence requirement and operating environment. We are confident we can do that, but it is right and proper for the Indian Military to judge us by results, not words.” Last year, Aeronautical Systems was invited to join the Trade Mission to India, led by Department of Commerce Under Secretary Franklin Lavin. This Mission, the largest ever mounted by the US, did much to pave the way for ASI’s entry into the market and to kick start what the company hopes will be a long term relationship with the Indian military. Whilst Aeronautical Systems’ primary mission is to support their customers, they are also pleased to support broader US aims by improving the increasingly important capabilities of close allies.
